Overview
The SmartStreet® solar demonstration is a grid of four solar panels located on the roof of the Green Well Gastro Pub in the East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids, MI. The installation is part of the Consumers Energy SmartStreet® project, which unites energy efficiency, renewable energy and emerging smart grid technology. This website shows the output of the solar installation and offers additional information regarding the SmartStreet® project.
Live Display
Launch Live DisplayA live web display runs continuously inside of the Green Well to show the output of the solar panels, giving customers and staff the following information:
- Instantaneous Power Output
- Energy Equivalencies
- Current Weather
- Energy Savings and Power Generation History
The display can also be viewed online by clicking the link on the right. It is best viewed from a wide screen monitor or television in Fullscreen Mode, which can be enabled in most browsers by pressing the F11 key.
